About Me

My passion for design began with studying architecture and interior design. However, an inspirational event shifted my academic focus, leading me to develop a true calling to help people with mental health problems. This pivot took me on a fulfilling journey as a Doctor in the mental health field in London (UK), where I worked extensively in both the public and private sectors. Despite my new career path, my interest in design never waned. Over the years, I took on selective design projects, balancing my dual interests in mental health and design.

After a decade in the mental health field, I eventually decided to leave the profession completely and return to my roots in design and real estate, bringing my journey full circle. Today, I invest in, remodel, and successfully operate my own commercial short-term rental (STR) properties. Additionally, I assist others with interior design and remodeling, particularly for STR properties.

As a native Scandinavian, I believe in the philosophy of functional aesthetics, working with a space’s existing attributes to unlock its unique potential. There is a psychology to how people interact with their environments, and it's essential to design homes with the occupants in mind. Homes cannot be designed in a vacuum; they must be rooted in real life and function, ensuring they are both practical and inspiring.
